ABOUT ME

I finished university and decided that now was my time to travel, with no commitments in life, if i didn´t go now, then i never would. I've been to Mexico for 4 months, and it didn't turn out quite right and was cut prematurely short, however, in the time i was there, i met many new people, re-met people in random places, camped, ridden, eaten and experienced so many new things...and that was without leaving Mexico!

I'm now living in York, have moved in with my girlfriend, expanded my bike collection, got a regular job and having a pretty good time... Most importantly I'm able to save a little money each month to go travelling! Next stop, Iceland!

PHILOSOPHY

"Make or break" - if you`re going to do something, do it 110%, otherwise there doesn't seem much point and you'll know you could have done it better!

I've hosted three and a half people (wrong Newport!! whoops!) and i'd happily meet or host more!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had positive responses in Mexico, and i've hosted Jo in Newport, Ali, Heidi and Diana in London and i'm meeting up with new people all the time!

Couch surfing! One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I solo climbed Iztaccíhuatl, a 5300m volcano in Mexico!

Rode to the four compass points of the UK for charity. 1,400 miles in 16 days, one hell of a challenge!

I´m quite a dab hand at bike maintenance, or medical science, lighting fires, pitching tents...jamming too much stuff onto too small a bike rack...
