About Me
I just moved out of New York City after 5 years living there and am unsure of where to settle next and so I figured this would be the perfect time to embark on a Southeast Asia excursion!
I'm a fun-loving and super friendly guy. I'm very easygoing and nearly impossible to offend. I never initiate disrespect towards anyone. Humor is my favorite method of communication and I'll be the first to laugh at myself. I'm always down to have a good time and I'll try anything new once.
Music is dearly important to me and going to concerts is one of my favorite activities.
Movies are also a passion of mine and I take cinema courses every chance I get.
Philosophy is the thing in my life I am most grateful for.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: I'm a huge Kubrick fan. I love the Marx brothers. Cheesy action movies like Predator have a special place in my heart. I'm open to any and all suggestions, though if they aren't available to watch instantly on netflix then I can't promise I'll see them anytime soon.
Music: I mostly listen to Hip Hop, Rock (especially when its blues inspired), and Electronic Music though I'm always open to new stuff. Some of my favorite artists include Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, Gorillaz, Streetlight Manifesto, The Who, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, The Black Keys, and The White Stripes
Books: Terry Pratchett is my favorite author. When not reading philosophy I almost always reach for one of his side-splitting satires.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The thing I'm most proud of is turning my life and outlook entirely around. At the end of my second year, after dabbling in a few philosophy classes, I was faced with the stunning realization that my know-it-all attitude was unfounded and counterproductive. From that day forward, I decided to dedicate myself to making my outlook of the world and of myself as accurate as possible. I switched my undeclared major to philosophy and have since been meticulously reevaluating the values my American upper middle-class upbringing had instilled in me.
Also, when I was a kid, I once won first place in my age group in the New York State Sunfish sailing championship.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a great teacher and an even better learner. I'd love to teach any of my strengths to anybody who wants to learn them, and equally excited to learn the any skills anyone has to offer. Especially piano, I would love to learn to play the piano.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Aside from a lifetime supply of bad puns? Well, I am an enthusiastic learner and new experience seeker. If you love sharing what you love, I would be a great and grateful receptacle.
Also I like to think I am good at providing perspective on difficulties and tough decisions.
