About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel the world, meet new people, go outside my comfort zone and grow

ABOUT ME

I'm an Australian guy who has recently discovered a passion for world travel. I love learning languages and meeting new people, although it can sometimes be difficult.

PHILOSOPHY

My life philosophy is to always be learning, be growing and discovering new things about yourself, the people around you and the world. It is our nature to want to reach our highest potential.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I primarily use CS to meet people while travelling. I often keep an eye on the local feed of where I am staying and check out any events/meetups that are happening nearby

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't Couchsurfed yet. I usually stay in Hostels but I'm now looking to host! (Update: won't be hosting for a while as I'm travelling the world)

Interests

Apart from travel and friends, my passions are coworking, digital technology and virtually anything creative. I also like playing sports and get a buzz out of exercise and physical activity. My other interests include personal development, self-growth and helping others do the same.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read self-help books, my favourite author right now being Timothy Ferris. My favourite type of music is progressive house, especially the work Swedish DJ/Producers such as Max Vangeli, Steve Angello, Dimitri Vangelis and Galantis.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

India is the most amazing place I've been however, I was there a long time ago on a family holiday. It was quite sheltered and I'm looking forward to a different experience when I visit again.

I went on 6-week student exchange in France when I was 16 which was probably the most surreal experience of my life. The culture, weather and architecture was so different to back home and I was living with a actual French family which ensured the experience was authentically French.

Recently I've been fascinated by Asian cities. I travelled to Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Macau with my girlfriend in 2013. I remember sitting at the bottom of the Canton Tower, Looking out into the skyline of New Town, Guangzhou and being amazed.

Teach, Learn, Share

The best things I can share is my ideas about spirituality, self-development, electronic dance music and culture, knowledge of my town or area, travel stories and my language, English.

Update:
Recently, I've become fascinated but remote work and how it enables you to travel the world. I have a YouTube channel on the subject where I post weekly videos. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbxtV_oVIXBtLRmyPfcLKVg
