ABOUT ME

I am currently living and working in South Korea and have been here for just over a year. This has provided me with the opportunity to travel to both China and the Philippines over the past year, with more to come in the future.
Like everyone here, I love to travel and will continue to do it for a long time. I am currently working towards speaking conversational Korean; I have a huge love for this country.
At the moment I am trying to decide between travelling India after my second year here, or cycling back to the UK from Istanbul, Turkey.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In only very small and casual ways. I have met quite a lot of people that are part of the CS community now, but for the most part while in hostels or just around and about. However, I have met up with a couple of people through the CS site.
I have hosted only one person as it stands, but this will change when I have a larger place to host.

Pulp fiction and Shrek 2 are my two favourite films.
I keep being shown new music to enjoy.
I -love- Terry Pratchett, his social satire for me is amazing, and all the better as he manages to make such a funny comparison with people traveling on the back of a giant turtle. :D

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I ran a half marathon over the DMZ and was saluted by a North Korean soldier as I ran past him giving an 'air high-five'.

Well, i did a degree in astrophysics so i can tell you about big bang theory, the forces in the universe, exactly how the forces work in a star, where its energy comes from, quantum physics... a lot about things to do with the universe, but certainly not everything. Its a huge sugject :p ...im not a astrologer tho so dont know anything about star signs :p
Also know a bit about the natural world and love a good theological discussion.
