I've been on the road for 4 years in New Zealand, the South Pacific, Australia and South East Asia and ended up staying 1 year in Bali where I met my girlfriend. Then went back to Germany in 2019 where she was living with me during the summer. Now we are back in Indonesia since November 2019. From January 2020 until August we drove on our old Honda Vario from Bali to Medan with an unexpected 3 1/2 months lockdown stay quarantined on a beautiful beach in South Padang.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet interesting people, immerse myself more into the culture of the country, having fun and to be totally honest: I guess it's pretty handy having a local directly at hand who can tell you where to, what to do etc in their city/country and of course - I mean who do you wanna bullshit - free accomodation
