i'm pretty laid back, like to get outside under the sun, ride bikes, meet new people, see new things, listen to live music, read.

PHILOSOPHY

i had a great aunt who once told me "you're doing ok if every day you make sure to do at least one good thing for your mind, one good thing for your body, and one good thing for somebody else." seems to me like that is a pretty good trinity by which to live.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In the past I was able to host surfers, but I recently moved to a pretty small place, that unfortunately no longer has a couch, upon which to be surfed. That said, when I am out traveling I have loved meeting people through couch, grabbing a coffee/beer and just generally happening upon and enjoying the company of the worlds travelers.

I feel lucky that it's a pretty long list...but my current favorite is riding my moto over the Alto del Vino and seeing the sabana de Bogota at 4 in the afternoon just as the sun is starting to turn that warm yellow tone...
