ABOUT ME

Well, what schould I say here ...
I'm Chris, 32 years old, got my masters-degree in religious education and work as a deacon in a protestant congregation (I hope I got all the right words for this... in german: Ich arbeite als Diakon in einer evangelischen Kirchengemeinde.).
Would like to travel a lot more and am working to make the time and money to do it.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't plan TOO much in advance, it'll happen differently anyway ...
... but be prepared for anything. ;-)

Planing to surf to surf some and I will move to a bigger room now and get my own couch, so I will be able to host (if my roommates are okay with it ...).

I think I'm an active and social person, like to do sports (manly judo, running and slacklining at the moment) and meeting people (old friends as well as new ones).

Got a record player for my last birthday and am starting my own little collection. :-)
Got some Tarantino soundtracks (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill), Adele, Katie Melua, Johnny Cash, ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of the best moments was watching a beautiful, peaceful sunset green hills in neve shalom near the end of a exciting but also strenuous educational trip through israel.

Lying down on my hostel-bed after a 30km trip with a 18kg backpack on the west-highland-way. ;-)

I think the best way of learning about things is exploring them together, regardless if it's a country, a language, a sport or a way of thinking. I'm alway up for exploring if you are.
