ABOUT ME

I am an Airline Pilot, having previously been a Medevac Pilot and also a flight instructor. I have been flying since I was 14 years old, and I have been flying professionally since I was 18. I love soccer (football everywhere else). When I was younger, I played extremely high levels of it (Semi-Pro), and I could have made it to the pro leagues... But for Malta.. :p. The reason why I declined to play was because of my injuries that I get so often from doing extreme sports, I could tell you all about these for hours! Of course, I LOVE TO TRAVEL! My job is perfect, as I get paid to fly planes, and I can see the world. I want to travel the world, and I love to meet new people! Hearing people's stories and talking to people with different experiences is something I have always loved! There are so many awesome people out there, and I just love talking to them, hearing their sides on different stories and hearing what they have done.

I love cats and dogs. I have been around them for as long as I can remember. I am more of a cat person, though! I volunteer to help improve the lives of animals, too! Whenever I do not work, and I am in Toronto, I love to go to the humane society and just hang around with the animals there. I can not do much, because I am not a vet or anything, but I just play with the animals and keep them company.

One thing I would love to do is volunteer for the Canadian Red Cross Emergency Response Unit. Going overseas and helping with disaster relief and helping those who are in extreme need of help would make me feel great, and I WILL do this. The only thing that is stopping me at the moment, is my work schedule. When I have a more established schedule, I will totally do this.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in living a life full of fun.. travelling, helping other people see their dreams, and achieving my own! I have a few examples of helping students achieve their dreams, and seeing them go from nothing to having what they wanted is a rush in itself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new, awesome people, of course! Couchsurfing is an excellent idea to get people out of the hotels, and into the community.. experiencing the new culture and town/city first hand, through the eyes of the host! I have had nothing but excellent experiences through this website, and highly recommend it to anyone. I also like to show people the town, so if I am around, send me a message and I'm more than happy to host!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have done a lot of amazing things and I'm not going to write them all here. In summary, some of them are:

Saved many peoples lives, I fly planes for a living, I volunteer with animals, and played high level soccer (football) when I was still very young.
