Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an overland traveler and I much prefer to travel slowly and avoid "tourist" hot spots. I choose instead to spend my time in what most might consider unassuming and off the beaten track locations.

On the hosting side of the coin, as an overlander myself it is my pleasure to host motorcycle travelers on the occasions when I am back in Canada or my place abroad. Always great to hear and share stories of our travels with each other!

I read primarily non fiction books such as The Daily Stoic, Antifragile, The Undercover Economist, How to Win Friends and Influence People, The Psychology of Selling, Relentless: From Good to Great.

I'm a big sci-fi fan of films such as Event Horizion, Star Trek, Star Wars, Starship Troopers

I listen to a wide range of music, for me it's more dependent on my mood rather than any specific genre. I have been known to enjoy artists including (but not limited to) Calvin Harris, Pendulum, Drake, Chemical Brothers, Kasabian, Darius Ruker, and Empire of the Sun

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've ridden solo across North America off road on my motorcycle to raise awareness for mens mental health and suicide prevention.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can give you the inside scoop of Toronto from a locals perspective.
I also have a separate private apartment suite for surfers which you will be able to use entirely to yourself.
I can give advice on overland travelling in North and South America
I can take you on motorcycle tours and explore the area if you are a fellow overlander.
