ABOUT US

We are a goofy, musical, adventurous family who reside with our hilarious toddler and many animals in our small house in North Portland.

We've had great experiences surfing and hosting in our youth, and now that we have a kid we want him to grow up meeting people from all over the world. Making new friends is always our favorite part of travel, and we're excited to bring that feeling home by hosting!

Most days off we plan to hike/bike/explore downtown during the day and then head home for a big family meal and boardgames in the evening. If that sounds fun to you, we love including our guests! We do get a ton of hosting requests nowadays, so to help us filter, please tell us something about yourself that we seem to have in common. We prefer to host people with references for 1-2d (last minute is ok), and current work schedules make Sunday-Wednesday our best days. PS. if you don't love dogs and kids, we're probably not the right hosts for you. ;)

We know many beautiful places to hike, bike, or kayak in Oregon and Washington, and would love to spend a day outside with new friends. Later that night, we can share our favorite recipes, play music together, play games, and relax with a bottle of wine.

As guests: Caitlin cooks, Chris does the dishes. If requested, we are also able to troubleshoot your electronics (Chris) or pets (Caitlin).
