ABOUT ME

We are a fun loving couple that have been together for 4 years now.

We have always wanted to travel the world and because of this have worked as hard as we could to save up the money to do so.

Thus we have now sold all of our belongings to become free-spirits and to see as many countries, go exploring and to meet as many friendly people along the way as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

We live to be happy, make each other happy, and make other people happy!

We love to live life to the full rather than live an empty life full of regrets.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We joined Coach Surfing when we were in India as we heard about it from some other travellers and so far we have so many positive things to say about it! We have so far only stayed with 2 hosts and both times it was absolutely fantastic and so much better than staying in a hostel or guesthouse. So mainly we are participating by spreading the word at present as we are travelling so cannot offer up our own couch unfortunately.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As mentioned above, we have only stayed with 2 fantastic hosts, Sanjay and Anu in Jaipur and Bhavesh in Hyderbad, both in India. They were so hospitable and friendly and are now fantastic friends of ours!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Both Chris and I like a complete varitey of Movies, Music and Books

Chris is secretly a little scared of scary films so doesn't like to watch them, but Charly, although occasionally petrified of them; likes to watch them although they do often give her nightmares.

Charly loves the occasional chick-flick and emotional drama movies, them possibly being her favourite, and although Chris wouldn't like to admit it, he does try and hide the fact that he sometimes sheds a tear at sad movies!

We also like movies that enlighten you a little more about the world around us, so factual movies are often interesting to both of us, yet Charly doesn't like acton films much.

As far as music is concerned, Charly tends to like more recent music as well as Chris yet he tends to favour some of the old-time classics as well.

With books, it tends to be anythng that sounds interesting from reading the back cover we will read. Chris has read many autobiographies finding them enjoyable, whilst when lounging on a beach Charly tends to prefer easy-reading.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

It is really difficult to name just one single amazing thing we have done, as so far on our travels and life in general we are very lucky to have done and seen so much!

One thing we must say and after much thinking and deliberating over this topic is seeing a Lunar Rainbow at Victoria Falls was pretty fantastic and worthwile doing if anyone else gets the opportunity and chance.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

We hope that we both have certain qualities that people may gain from knowing us. Chris is an amazing cook (says Charly who considers herself very very lucky as she's pretty rubbish herself!) He always loves to learn new receipes and also loves to teach others how to cook some of his favourite dishes as well!

We always just love to learn about people, different cultures, beliefs, history and attitudes and we are always open to share any of ours with new friends as well. We are very honest people so we have no secrets, just ask!
