About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To save more money for another bike trip - in the mean time see our own country as we have seen others!

ABOUT ME

***PLEASE NOTE WE CAN'T HOST DURING JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST 2014 AS WE ARE TRAVELLING IN SCANDINAVIA***

We have recently moved to Brighton and are getting back into everyday life in the UK after spending a year travelling the world, including cycling for 4 months in Central America. We are keen to repay the hospitality we received from people while travelling by hosting people in our new flat in Brighton - we are new to this city but could discover what it has to offer while showing visitors around!
Chris is currently a student at Sussex University, studying Social and Political Thought, and so although very busy with lots of reading, is flexible with his time. Ebba works as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in forensic mental health, working 5 days a week, tues-sat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We couchsurfed in a variety of countries while travelling, but most extensively during a trip back from Frankfurt with our bikes. The kindness and hospitality shown by hosts has always been so amazing, and we have met some fantastic people along the way.

Interests

We love travelling and bike touring, and after finishing our first 'big' trip last year are keen to do much more! Ebba works in Mental Health, and Chris worked in social research for several years before returning to university to study 'Social and Political Thought.'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visiting Everest Base Camp last year was unbelievable, and absolutely worth the cold! We also really loved travelling around Japan, and are desperate to go back (hopefully next time with bikes). Cycling from Guatemala to Costa Rica (slowly and with lots of stops in between!) was incredible, and has made us want to do much more travelling by bike. the amazing people we met , and the kindness we experienced everywhere that we went was incredible and gives you some faith in the nature of humanity!

Teach, Learn, Share

Not too many skills to offer - Chris plays guitar, and Ebba can Crochet!
We would love to polish up our Spanish skills!
