ABOUT ME

With our kids grown and out of the house we find we have more time to travel and meet new folks. We are trying to figure out what our perfect vacation is and having fun trying new things. Culture is the best and anytime we can meet new friends and make those connections makes travel so much more rewarding.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't sweat the small stuff and live life to the fullest because it goes so fast.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We want to open our home to travelers so we can experience new ideas, cultures, and because it's just plain cool to meet people! We really value the people we meet and would rather couch surf so we can get to know the people and the place well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had a few surfers and loved it! We know what it is like to host and be hosted and "get it" when it comes to being in those situations. We have also hosted students from Italy, China, Japan, Ecuador and Venezuela. Chris surfed across Europe in 2011 for a month!

兴趣

We are fascinated with nature. Love history. Find solace in geologic time. Tend towards conspiracy theories and little. Love nature when we can spend time there. Coffee and a travel show for breakfast is filling. Collecting coasters - yes the beer coasters... Collecting places we have been.
