CURRENT MISSION
Live our lives happily and hopefully travel again soon.
ABOUT ME
Lacey and Chris came from very different backgrounds mostly raised in very different areas (Chris was raised near the beaches of Southern California while Lacey was raised closer to the foothills of Yosemite. After nearly a decade in the valley just below the place Lacey called home, they met online, spoke on the phone for hours on end, and two days after they first spoke, met in person. While dating, the two if them (and their best friend Kayla) traveled the country together, heading straight for beautiful Monument Valley and the Salt Lake in Utah, down to Arizona to visit some family that they hadn't seen in a while, all the way to the oldest city in the U.S. St. Augustine, Florida, up to the beautiful home town of Stephen King, in Maine, and pretty much straight back to California, hitting nearly every noteworthy stop in between, and Couchsurfing nearly every step of the way for about 7 weeks. Fast forward a few years later, and exactly five years later from the day they met on October 23rd, 2013, they got married, by Kayla, who got ordained specifically for their big day, and now live together in a place that in it's own right seems perfect, a country setting in the Central Valley of California, almost smack dab in the middle of the mountains and the beach, which is a great spot for anyone wanting to recharge between places such as Sacramento, San Francisco, Yosemite, San Jose, and Fresno. There may not me much in our neck of the woods, but 2 hours in any direction will easily get you to some of the most beautiful places California has to offer.
PHILOSOPHY
Chris- Try and be the best person you can be, and you'll never go wrong.
Lacey- When I do good, I feel good, when I do bad, I feel bad, that is my religion.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We surfed a lot, but haven't hosted much due to circumstances beyond our control, but as of a couple months ago, our circumstances have changed for the better, and we can now host a lot more, and hopefully will be doing just that. We would prefer to host on weekends, but aren't opposed to other days as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosting: A few friends, and a couple from Denmark that stayed with us for a few days.
Surfing: 22 different people in 20 different states, and just for the record, over 75% of them we now consider good friends :)
Interessi
Chris- I am a musician/web designer/photographer and love every bit of it. I take a lot of pride in my photography, not only in a sense of me taking the picture itself, but in the story that goes along with how the picture came to be. Pictures tell a thousand words, and the stories behind them are what I enjoy about them the most. I also love debating politics and religion, and can go on for hours.
Lacey- I love exploring the outdoors and learning new ways of viewing things from each and every person I meet. Also you cant forget to enjoy the little things in life.

Musica, film e libri
Chris
Movies: The Lost Boys, SLC Punk, Fight Club, Grandma's Boy, Zombieland, anything with Adam Sandler, Chris Farley, or Denzel Washington, pretty much any horror movies or comedies.
Music: I like a lot of stuff ranging from post-hardcore like Alexisonfire, La Dispute, and Pianos Become the Teeth to folky stuff like William Elliott Whitmore, The Builders and The Butchers, Two Gallants, and Deer Tick, but I can also really get into classic rock, especially Lynard Skynard, Journey, and ACDC.
Books: I read a lot, just not a lot of books... Some of my favorites though are Napalm and Silly Putty, and The Giver

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Chris-We saw so many amazing places on our road trip it is hard to choose just one. Camping in the middle of nowhere in Maine, sailing at sunset in Jersey, swimming in the forest in Virginia, and hanging out on Bourbon St. in New Orleans were definitely in the top 10 though, in no particular order.
Lacey- I have seen people come together, grieve together and love one another. For even just a moment, I have seen peace.
Insegna, impara, condividi
Chris: I can teach basic photoshop and other web design tools, and even a little bit of photography, although I myself am still learning a bit. I would love to learn more about photography. I would love to share stories of places we've been and want to go, discuss politics, and possibly even share music.
