Hey, I am just a simple, peaceful guy, fun-loving, approachable and easy to get along with.

I grew up in London, my parents are also big travellers and my first plane ride was when I was 3 months old. We would take family vacations all the time and explore different places.

At the age of 17 I went on my first holiday with just friends to a Spanish island for sun and all the mischief that a teenager would get up to. To this day, I still wonder how my mum even allowed me to do this...

I graduated from university and my graduation present was that I would go backpacking around the world at the age of 21.
Ever since, my travel bug has never left me behind, and I just love travelling and visiting new places!

I love to connect with people and I have so much love to give, a bit to each and everyone who I am proud to call my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's always better to meet locals, and hang out with the real inhabitants of the city! They take you to the best places to eat, drink, and show you the best experiences.

I always think that meeting people leaves a much longer-lasting impression of a place than tourist attractions.

I travel to connect, to meet people who i would have never crossed paths with in my normal day to day life. The world is becoming smaller and smaller everyday, distant friends are not hard to meet up with any more...and I always love an excuse to get on a plane!

Interests

Culture, art, music (all kinds), food, food, food, good food, and amazing food !
I also like beer, and usually I am very keen to try some local beer as soon as I get off a plane.

I like meeting people, getting to know people and really forming cool connections.

I tend to ask questions. lots and lots of questions, but not in a way that would drive you crazy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I lived in Berlin - I now love electronic music, its all its wonderful forms.
I like mainstream, alternative, world music, and also classical.

I have read self help books for a long time and I continue to do so, some powerful and important messages are always so easy to forget and you can never be reminded enough times..

Love Tarantino movies, comedies, and anything else with a half-decent story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed the great wall of China!

Ive been plane-wrecked in the middle of the pacific ocean before, when there was a crack on the windscreen of the cockpit... all passengers had to get off the plane. there were around 50 of us.

I finally left the island 6 days later... what an amazing experience

Vipassana! - 10 day silent meditation retreat in Myanmar. Imagine that, silence for 10 days, and nothing but meditation for 10 hours a day..., if you meet me, you will wonder how I actually managed to keep my mouth shut for so long, but I did it and it was amazing!

I am great at cooking, building things, I'm good with software, hardware, and generally most things I can do and if I can't, then I'm willing to give it a try!
