About Me
CURRENT MISSION
make the most of a late spring in France
ABOUT ME
In July 2010, I left my corporate job to begin traveling and freelancing for a year. I had been working in a windowless office, and decided that I would make the most of my time enjoying daylight again, traveling around the US and WWOOFing & traveling in France.
PHILOSOPHY
I learn by experience and choose to try a number of things to see what life could be like through a variety of choices.
I was raised in a conservative home and continue to wrestle with what religion is and what faith will look like in my life, but carry on from that an overall desire to share a love for life and humanity with others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I always love to tell people the best places to go in NYC and what to skip. I'm new to couchsurfing, and once I have an apartment again in NYC , I plan to host other surfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've spent the last 7 months staying on the floors and couches of friends around the US, but I'm new to the CS community--I look forward to meeting new people and sharing experiences moving forward.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 6 weeks in Senegal in 2007, in the capital city of Dakar, with travels in the country to a rural village with no electricity called Keur Sedaro and former French colonial sites like Ile St. Louis. It was the first time I experienced life as a true outsider and minority.
Teach, Learn, Share
I hope to continue to improve my French and learn about the way of life for other people.
I'm a professional graphic designer and a hobbyist of art history--I love to share any knowledge I have in these fields.
