About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn and share about life, people, differences, adventures, etc.

ABOUT ME

I've known many different people of many different shapes, colors, sizes, and sanities ;) My current friends are varied but get-along-able with good intentions and good people. A new friend, who is pritty kool, told me about this site and I was surprised and think that it is a sweet idea to get people to broaden their horizons. I've grown up fairly privileged and learned a lot because of it. I can identify, or try to identify, with many different kinds of people.

PHILOSOPHY

Anything is possible and one should consider all possibilities when nearing a judgment about something; or at least allow for uncertainty when approaching a judgment or decision. At the same time, life is rich, intense, full of things to see and feel, and it all depends on how you're seeing things at a given time. I try to see things as though everything WILL work out eventually, and have patience while still living. "Don't stop believin'" (Journey). I think we're all in this together and we might as well help eachother out when/how we can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I'm just getting started, but I am willing and excited to host and be hosted. I do like people who clean up after themselves and contribute where/when they can in shared things like air and food and good times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed at friends' houses on trips before. I have also hosted a surfer that is a friend of my room mates (he had no affiliation with this website), but he really just had no home, and once there was a mini-closet with his shoes, cd's, and dirty underwear under our coffee-table, I had to call it off. He also consumed our resources without offering to contribute in any way. So it wasn't the best surfing experience, but I think this site/community will help provide better surfing experiences in the future.

Interests

Life, walks, bike-rides, Timbuk2 bags, movies, music, shows of sorts, good people, new things to experience, think about, or learn about, PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon) and other nicer beers when funds allow, wine is also good. I like college and discussions about things. Going places I've never been. Yeah, I'm pritty open.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hunter S. Thompson, Michael Franti, people with talent and/or good thoughts and viewpoints about things, Flaming Lips, Incubus, John Lennon, Aldous Huxley, Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Alex Grey, and other creative and interesting people, movies, music, or books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've stayed alive this long and love it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can be very empathetic. I can recognize inconsistencies, and other things that some people tend not to perceive. I have art, music, movies, and other things to share. I also have many friends with many things to offer as well. We tend to keep a fairly creative and learning environment around our couches.
