About Me
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Sydney, Australia. I'm lucky enough to have formed a close group of friends from the area, Balmain, where I grew up, as well as from the school I attended. I have always been a keen Rugby and Tennis player, and skiier. More recently, I have developed a strong interest in cycling, both as a hobbie and a competitive sport.
Having finished a P.E teaching degree in 2012, I am currently spending some time in Europe, working as a bike tour guide for various companies and hotels in Italy and France, as well as back-packing around Europe.
At some stage, my plan is to head home to Australia and start a teaching career but, being lucky enough to have European Union citizenship as a result of Dutch heritage, I'm in no rush to move onto that stage. As far as my savings will take me, I'm hoping to gain a few more experiences and see a bit more of the world before I head home.
PHILOSOPHY
Big question! Not sure i have an answer for that one yet....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am actually yet to participate in couch surfing actively. Having spent a bit of time travelling and staying in hostels, I am really excited about the idea of giving couch-surfing a go, getting an authentic experience and getting to know some real local people.
