About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To show my children how small the world really is by traveling and interacting with people from around the world
ABOUT ME
Chris and I grew up moving around. Both of our fathers were in the Army. We graduated high school in Alaska. I always liked to camp, but fell in love with it in Alaska. We are raising kids now and don't get to travel as much as we would like, but a girl can dream.
We are music lovers and do manage to travel quite a bit for various concerts and festivals. I love to cook and discover different foods from all over the world.
PHILOSOPHY
A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles." Tim Cahill"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We are happy to host or just hang out..or show you around the Dallas Fort Worth area. We live about 8 miles from DFW Airport ( think lots of international flights), so if someone needed a place to sleep on a layover, our house would be a good place to do that. We might even be able to pick you up and take you to the airport.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Our first CS experience was spending time with a family from Switzerland for 2 days. Our kids played together and we went to the zoo and talked and talked. We have stayed in constant contact ever since. I love how couch surfing makes the world a smaller place
