About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Spread my seed throughout the world!...not like that filthy people, but my view that life is a sculpture of our own design and one that can be molded and remolded at our own desire. If life has not taken shape the way we wish it would...reshape it!

ABOUT ME

I live in Taipei, Taiwan NOT Bangkok anymore...please no requests for a stay in BKK

I'm a 34 year old male spending my days trying to explore the world and figure out where the next place I will call home will be.

PHILOSOPHY

My dad passed away in 2011 and weeks before he died, he asked me if I was happy...my answer was a smug "yes!" when in reality I was miserable with all aspects of my life...sensing my dishonesty he said that I should slow down and enjoy the beauty of life because no one else was gonna ensure that my life was fullfilling and joyful. Ever since he passed away I thought deeply about his words and swore I wouldn't live another day doing anything that didn't bring me joy...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've had a few great guests that I hope have felt at home in this sometimes confusing city. I'm incredibly easy-going and if I host am more than happy to contribute to my surfer's experience in whatever way I can since we're all different.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted and met some pretty fun and interesting people. Probably sounds cliche, but it's true ;-)

Interests

Obviously traveling, outdoor adventures, art, music, sports and more than anything meeting new good people to share a good time with.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite authors: Herman Hesse and Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Ralph Waldo Emerson; Movies: too many, just no shitty ones where explosions take the place of great dialogue; Music: Soul, Hip-Hop (real hip-hop, not shitty mainstream radio garbage), Funk, R&B, Reggae, Blues, Classic Rock, Classical, some Electronic music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen incredible feats of human will overcome certain death...but if we're speaking generically, probably the most amazing experience I've had was hiking Kilauea in Hawaii during a full moon in the middle of the night.

Teach, Learn, Share

So much on both ends...
