I'm consider myself to be an artist. I write plays and short stories, and I always enjoy a good story. I'm a great listener and I hope to see life with fresh eyes.

I'm now working as a librarian, but I still put up plays at least once a year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To find a cheaper alternative so I can still enjoy the art I want to enjoy.
I also want to meet new people and get a peek at their lives in another country. Makes for good stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Performing on stage for the first time, not much can come close to that feeling for me. Then seeing a play I wrote get performed on stage as well.

I can teach a person how to activate their presence on stage.
I can teach how to smoothly go through crowds without bumping into anyone.
I can teach you how to speak Singlish.
I want to learn new secret recipes.
I want to learn about the New York theatre scene and also catch a few gigs while I'm there.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Theatre Practitioner stuff from the Asia. I graduated with a degree in Theatre Studies with a focus on Asian Theatre. So if any theatre peeps are willing to host me, I can share a few stories and techniques from where I come from in terms of acting and writing.
