About Me
Wow. Logged into this account again after years. This is quite a nostalgic time capsule. Lots has changed, lots stayed the same.
CURRENT MISSION
Let me check
ABOUT ME
I’m a laid-back guy and just returned to Frankfurt, Germany, where I grew up back in the day. I love listening to peoples’ stories and getting to know new things that broaden my horizon. I will gladly share a drink with you in order to do that. I’m probably not as well-traveled as most people here, but I have done my fair share of interesting stuff in life and a few stories to tell of my own.
PHILOSOPHY
"In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities, in the expert's mind there are few."
- Shunryu Suzuki
"On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind, I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer."
- Satoru Iwata
"The average man will bristle if you say his father was dishonest, but he will brag a little if he discovers that his great-grandfather was a pirate."
- Bern Williams
"We live in a society, where pizza gets to your house before the police."
- Tupac Shakur
"If you don't read the newspaper you are uninformed; if you do read the newspaper you are misinformed."
- Mark Twain
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, I can host people in Frankfurt since I do have a couch. I do know Frankfurt pretty well and my apartment is a pretty cool place to hang out.
Other than that, I think CS is great for meeting interesting people.
Interests
I love hanging out with friends, have a beer and a good time. I am basically into any form of media and entertainment, board and video games, tv shows, movies, books, sports.. Also I like to chill outside for your general BBQ, party, hiking, relaxation. I enjoy pretty much anything that is not clubbing or the dentist.
Furthermore, big passions of mine are music (I make some nice oldschool boom bap rap music) and politics (I was one of the first members of the German Pirate Party). Hope you still like me now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Back in the day we founded an association to promote Hip Hop culture in Gießen, Germany. We organized a lot of jams, open mics and parties that were all pretty great. When all of this peaked, we did this one jam that went for two days. We hosted musicians, graffiti artists and BBoys and Girls form all over the world. Even today, these days remain among my most cherished memories. Good times!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a well educated person and have my areas of expertise. So I hope we will have fruitful conversations and learn from each other. Aside from that I can teach you how to rap. :-P
