CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to get my own little fitness studio up and running! I love to discuss this with people as everyone seems to be full of good ideas and the concept is always improving as a result!

On a more day to day basis, I love to just be outdoors whether it's walking my dog or participating in some activity like sailing or playing volleyball.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Basically, to get to share a more intimate and authentic experience with people. At hotels this is almost non-existent, with Airbnb it's really hit and miss, so it seems like Couchsurfing might fit the bill!

Typically the best travel experiences I've had have been ones where I've had the company of, or at least recommendations from, a local. Whenever I host I love to try to tailor my recommendations to the person visiting and it's just awesome when they come back at the end of the day with big smiles on their faces and a good story to tell.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Planted over 200,000 trees in Northern British Columbia. In order to help pay for school I took a job tree planting for two non-consecutive summers. It was, to say the least, wild. Living in the real bush for 3 months at a time, seeing black bears on nearly a daily basis, dealing with an infinite number of hungry bugs, carrying 200+ trees on your back at getting to intimately know a wide variety of people from all walk of life -- it was a life-changing and incredible experience.
