Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Do something rewarding with my work time, have a lot of fun in the meantime and explore the world generally while I'm at it!
ABOUT ME
Outgoing, light-hearted socially but have a deeper perspective on humanity and politics, love to have fun but a pretty laid-back person! From Australia, lived in Europe for nearly 9 years and in Bogota for 4 years with Habitat for Humanity.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat people the way I would like to be treated, be considerate, make an effort with people to create some atmosphere of happiness around me. Be constructively critical of the world and the decision-makers, go out into the world and make it all a home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Someone recommended this to me as means of establishing some friends/contacts in Bogota. Am on a trip across the US currently and am as much interested in meeting the people of this country as seeing its beautiful landscapes!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Years ago I met up with some people I studied Spanish with in Barcelona, who had teamed up with others through Couchsurfing, that's about the extent of my experience.
Interests
Like a good social chat, music.. I like sleeping, surfing, swimming (especially at the beach), cycling (mainly as a means of transport), watching good movies/series, playing football. I work for an NGO and I can't think of anything else of interest right now.
