Couchsurfed in Portugal which was rad, hosted a few times on the OBX of NC.

I'm kind of a movie snob...The Return (the Russian film, NOT the sequel to The Grudge), Yi Yi: A One and a Two, Pulp Fiction, Punch Drunk Love, Lost in Translation, Blue Valentine, Before Sunrise - Midnight, and of course Wet Hot American Summer.

I pretty much exclusively enjoy non-fiction adventure tales. Paddle to the Amazon is my favorite. The Alchemist is a huge exception to that non-fiction rule; that book is my bible.

My music taste are eclectic and always evolving but right now I'm really digging Lord Huron as well as some fruity tropical house stuff.

I've traveled quite a bit and have some pretty solid life philosophies that I also enjoy discussing over beers; preferably in a quiet, natural setting.

I love where I live so much. I'd be happy to take you surfing or spearfishing/freediving. I also love taking short road trips and camping to show off our beautiful coastline. I work for myself so my schedule is usually pretty flexible for some adventures.
