About 9 years ago, I realized there was more to life than a 9 to 5 job I wasn't happy with, so I packed my bags and started pursuing my passions and curiosities. Along the way, I've gotten to share what I've learned with many people, and I'm always interested in growing, learning more, and expanding my comfort zone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel, I prefer to get a sense of the local atmosphere, the heart beat and attitude of a location... and the people that live there have a lot to do with that.

I would love to meet with people living where I travel so we can exchange stories and make this planet a more friendly and welcoming place.

Interests

I most value personal growth and exploration. I am curious what makes for a full human experience.

While the mind and body are great to understand, I have also spent the past half dozen years studying in the metaphysical/psychic realm, and that's what I'm interested in exploring on trips when possible!

In the past year, I've been developing my spiritual side, noticing the patterns that connect us all at a universal level. I enjoy discussing these things with people interested and happy to not with those not.

At the end of the day, I believe life is meant to be enjoyed and experienced fully.

Books: I'm regularly reading about 5 books simultaneously. The most interesting series currently is "Life and Teachings of the Masters of the Far East"

Music: Mostly positive lyrics and trance-y/other worldly in feel... lately I've been listening to more Enya

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was voted funniest student at UC Berkeley in 2010... That was a cool and fun experience.

I also wrote one of the first advice books about dating on Tinder.

I regularly lead meditations and energy healings for people... also spent a decade advising people in dating/relationships, so always happy to help out there.
