ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Chris and I'm 32 years old. I'm originally from California and I'm currently planning to travel around northern India during the Fall of 2023!

Back in 2011, I studied abroad in Italy for one semester and I've been hooked on traveling ever since. In 2014, I decided to quit my office job to travel and couchsurf around the world for 13.5 months. This was the best experience of my life and now all I want to do is keep traveling, meet new people, and experience new cultures. I'm all about having as much fun as possible and having the best experience wherever I am.

PHILOSOPHY

My idea of living a fulfilling life is traveling the world and experiencing all of the different places and cultures that have developed. I believe that seeing the world, meeting, connecting, and learning about people from as many different cultures as possible is one of the greatest things anyone can do in their life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted 4 people at my home in the past, with one of them staying 3 weeks on my couch. I've couchsurfed about 30 times with people all over the world during my 13.5 month, round the world trip from September 2014 - October 2015, as well as my travels through Japan during winter 2016/2017.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some of the greatest experiences of my life from couchsurfing. The best part about my life changing trip around the world was my couchsurfing experience. I've met the most amazing people in my life from couchsurfing and I truly believe this is the best way you can travel and it is the best community of people in the world!

Not a great cook, but I am a professional dishwasher :) I also love to treat hosts to a meal at a local restaurant they may enjoy, or somewhere out for a drink.
