ABOUT ME

I grew up on the east coast, went to school in the middle of the country and now live on the west coast. In 2009 my fiancé Amy and I embarked on a round the world trip, where we couchsurfed across Africa, the Middle East, India and Southeast Asia.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I do whatever I can to help out couchsurfers visiting San Francisco and love to meet other couchsurfers when I'm traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had lots of people Couchsurf with me in San Francisco and spent 7.5 months Couchsurfing around the word. Couchsurfing has changed my outlook on travel, and I will continue to do it as much as possible!

My two best CS experiences were 1) having two french couchsurfers stay with me for 10 days and really getting better at french and 2) spending 25 days in Syria without ever staying at a hotel or hostel (all CS).

Rock climbing, social media, technology and gadgets, traveling anywhere I've never been, eating new and strange foods, crazy/extreme adventure activities (e.g. skydiving)

Movies/TV: I like most movies and TV shows, but current favorites are Planet Earth, Igby Goes Down, Entourage and Lost.
Music: Depending on my mood, I either like Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, Dance/Electronic, Hip Hop, Bhangra, Classical or Movie Soundtracks
Books: I'm most picky with books. I really enjoy non-fiction, and have a very difficult time finding fiction books I enjoy. However, favorites include Vagabonding, Great Gatsby and Killing Pablo.

I can offer help with anything Internet/Web related, and could probably help people with their English. I'm also very well versed at how CS works, so would be happy to help answer questions.
