About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To connect the world, one couch at a time!
ABOUT ME
My name is Chris, I get to live in the coolest city in the world. Not biased or anything :). I spent 4 plus years of my life traveling the world and meeting some of the greatest people on the earth. They've since become life long friends and had I not been able to get out of the bubble; such life altering events would not have occurred. The world is full of incredible people, get out and meet as many as possible. I am an athlete and nerd, I went to the Olympics, I work with numbers, I love music and am an avid sailor. Hard to find me without a smile on my face.
PHILOSOPHY
The mind is everything, what you think you become.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I believe people are inherently good. Too often the negative stereotypes of the human race far out weigh the positive. I choose to believe the positive outweighs the negative. I welcome the chance to show people my beautiful city as best I can and to pay it forward to those visiting theirs.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I lived in the famous Ramsay House of San Diego. In that time my roommates and I, led by Miles Demars-Rote, hosted well over 30 couchsurfers. That experience added tremendous value to each of our lives and because of it, once I moved into my own place, I wanted to continue the adventure of hosting couchsurfers. Our Ramsay crew continues to spend a lot of time together, whether going to concerts, sailing into the pacific ocean on our sailboat, or finding a local watering hole to enjoy some fine craft beer San Diego has to offer.
