I am an environmentally conscious person who is always looking for new experiences.
I have recently moved back to Nova Scotia and am trying to get set up here. Hopefully I will be hosting surfers soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted a couple of times and surfed in a few different places. I also use it just to meet up with people in new cities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done some hosting but and had a couple of good experiences. I also find it useful to check out any CS event in areas I visit (even if not surfing) as you make more connections and learn a bit more about the place you're in.

Interests

Sustainability, reading, snowboarding, comics, fencing, movies, biking and being awesome.
I enjoy reading non-fiction, either economic or political books, or science books (super exciting I know). I like just talking with people a lot and just learning about others.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of things and tend to go through phases. for music I am in a big phase of Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra and Electric six.

I haven't seen many movies lately but I tend to enjoy ones that follow a more realistic stance where everyone can be seen as both the protagonist and antagonist.

For books I enjoy a lot of now fiction, mostly about random science (like those written by Mary Roach) or about global economic systems. Although I also really enjoy detective novels, especially Sherlock Holmes.
