About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Living, hosting, adventuring

ABOUT ME

When I traveled through North America I have been hosted by many great and openhearted people. Now that I am living in an apartment in Düsseldorf by myself, hosting is so easy and I want to give back what I alreday got from the cs-community.

I'm usually very optimistic and I can have fun in almost every situation. Sometimes people think, that I would laugh at them, but it's just because funny thoughts suddenly appear in my head.
I like listening to good music, sport events, or just hanging out at a bar or club.

PHILOSOPHY

A smart man should always take enough time to do stupidities

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I heard of CS I was amazed of this idea...

Yes, I share my apartment with "strangers". But if you're just looking for a free accommodation and if you are not even able to read my profile and send me a copy and paste message I won't waste my time with responding.

I would prefer tourists who want to explore the city a little bit and who have the intention to be good guests which means that basics like spending some time together for making dinner, trying to be clean, not bringing other guests to my apartment without asking should be naturally...

SO THIS IST THE WAY HOW YOU CAN GET MY ATTENTION AND THE CHANCE TO STAY AT MY PLACE:

Step 1. Please use the word "EIERSALAT" anywhere in your first message, so that I know you read my profile.
Step 2: CS is about sharing and the surfers should be willing to give at least something. So when I host you I want you to donate at least 10 € per Person per night to MSF (Doctors without borders). You can donate before and show me the receipt or you can donate when you are at my place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It started in Toronto on Tali's and Lynn's couch and the girls were really awesome hosts. I also surfed in Calgary, Victoria, Seattle, San Francisco and went out with surfers in Miami and although all the people were very different, every experience was amazing.

Interests

Sounds strange but I really like learning... And travelling, meeting new people, drinking a beer in a bar or having adventures is a great way to learn.

And because I don't want to become a real nerd I try to do some sports regularly like swimming or playing tennis

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went hiking alone in Banff and Lake Louise and saw a wolf and a brown bear in the forrest. While I followed the wolf a few meters I was happy that the brown bear didn't follow me...

Teach, Learn, Share

It would be great if someone could teach me playing piano or saxophon like a pro wihtin one or two days

I could teach some german words, playing tennis or how to survive just by eating wine gums and sweets all day long
