ABOUT ME

I'm a dreamer, and idealist and a rebel in struggle with conventionalism and demands of reality. I love to travel, mostly in spontaneous and impulsive ways, to lose myself and to live in the moment.

I major in accounting in university but I'm interested in much more than that - economics, politics, music, arts and sports. I'm interested in anything novel.

Meeting people is always a delight, even though the ice breaking process might be the ultimate hindrance. (Which is why I love travelling - there is no such need to break ice; everyone is just in such so relaxed) I may appear quiet sometimes, but do not mistake it for introverson. It is my way of showing that I'm perfectly comfortable. I'm open-minded, enjoy heartfelt conversations, and respectful of each and every individual. Expressing my emotions is surely not my forte, but they dwell strongly within me. I see myself as a kind person, sometimes giving much more that I should because it touches me to make people smile. I'm a good listener, and am fond of stories that you would like to share :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to host travellers coming to Singapore/Hong Kong (depending on where I am) should they need a place, and show them around! (if im not too bogged down with work) Travellers are most welcome to send me a couch request should they urgently need one!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Having surfed in a couple of places in USA, I am completely touched by the level of trust and hospitality extended to surfers. I am deeply in love with the free-spiritness of the CS community, and the spirit is highly contagious. Meeting new people through couchsurf has opened my mind to lives of different people in ways undreamed of. The experience has been incredibily impactful and enjoyable and i think that the couchsurfing project is a truly groundbreaking concept.

Hitch-hiked across USA from DC to LA in 2 weeks, with $400, a backpack, a tent and yoga mats to spend the nights and a knife for self defence. Learned so much from people I met and various experiences from journey.
