About Me

I am, because you are! I am an advocate of the ancient African Ubuntu-Ma'at philosophy. Not familiar with it? Then I am more than willing to share this wonderful and enlightening philosophy with you.

I am a British national who recently returned back to the UK from the Dominican Republic. I cannot host guests right now as I just moved back to London to get back on my feet, after being defrauded of all my belongings and possessions accumulated over a lifetime. I am in need of temporary shelter/accommodation so I can regain some sort of normalcy. I am a fun loving, outgoing, knowledgeable, well-rounded individual, who loves sharing my life experiences with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting and interacting positively with new people and learning about their cultures and experiences, and what better way to achieve this than Couchsurfing.

Interests

I am currently into designing a digital currency and platform technology (DLT/blockchain), learning Systems Design, writing a self development book, bachata, African dance, , healthy cooking and lifestyle. I am spiritual and into practices such as meditation, Chi Gong, Chi (Ki) cultivation, love eating out, having picnics or taking walks on a beach, a park or being entertained in a town square, cinema (I have not been for many years since living in the DR).

I love movies, there are too many favourites to mention.

I read a lot of non-fiction books, but I love the following fiction authors, Ngugi Wathiongo, Chinua Achebe, Robert Ludlum, Ayn Rand, Eustace Mullins and a few more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved an old man who was being beaten by the restaurant/bar bouncers in Zona Colonial, Santo Domingo, while everyone else just sat there not saying a word or lifting a finger. His crime?...begging a customer for a cigarette 🚬.
