About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Allow myself to grow through new experiences and adventures!
ABOUT ME
I love hiking, travelling, board games, and anything fantasy related. I am a big fantasy nerd :-) I also love costuming, Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year! I am more of an introvert when it comes to being around large groups of people, but I LOVE having one on one conversations with other people about their life experiences. I hope to have the opportunity to hear about yours! I am a very positive person and I love meeting other positive folks :-)
PHILOSOPHY
"Be sure the safest rule is that we should not dare to live in any scene in which we dare not die." - Lewis Carroll. I could not agree with this quote more. In my opinion, happiness is the proof of a life well lived, no matter how we choose to achieve it :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have never participated in couchsurfing before, but I have heard so many positive experiences from other people that I am very curious to try this experience while travelling for myself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet, this will be my first :-)
Interests
As mentioned above, I love the outdoors. During the Spring and Summer I like to go backpacking and camping when I have the time, usually for three or four days at a time. I also love to play board games! Settlers of Catan, Power Grid, and Ticket to Ride are just a few examples.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Though I have done many interesting things in my life, for this space I will list the time I spent an entire year road tripping across the United States. The shear time that I was able to give to this experience allowed me to have so, so many amazing memories created.
Teach, Learn, Share
I think the most important lesson I have learned thus far in life is that adaptability is the key to happiness. Life is constantly changing and evolving. We are also constantly changing and evolving. If we can learn to just roll with the punches and keep on going with an open mind no matter what life throws at us, then happiness is always within easy reach :-)
