About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Sounds like a 007 statement, huh?
ABOUT ME
You may be born in a place. You may live on this place since you recognize your own existence. Your friends may be there, your family. But you have that itch feeling you don't necessarily need to stay at all times in a single place..
I love traveling and have been lucky enough to travel loads in Brazil, Latin America and other parts of the world through my job and also for leisure. Most of my travels are by myself as my schedule is pretty flexible, which has the positive side of encountering lots of interesting people, with amazing stories throughout.
PHILOSOPHY
Tough question to ask. I'd rather try not be an extremist in any occasion. Trying and finding a balance is the best option for me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted twice here at home, met some travelers at a local CS meeting, gave a walking tour in Sao Paulo and other in Rio. Great experiences. I am always happy to be of any assistance If I can. Sharing is caring
Interests
As a researcher, I love talking to people. I can spend hours listening to an unknown person random story.
Also love discoverying new sounds and immersing in different cultures. I'm currently diving into Brazilian regional particularities, such as african and indigenous music and religions. This has been mindblowing for me.
Music, Movies, and Books
Currently reading Great Thinkers by The School of Life. Great one for opening my mind into insightful people around a wide array of topics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Parintins Festival was one of the most intense energy Ive ever felt
King's day in Amsterdam was much fun
Carnival in Rio, Olinda and Sao Paulo are unique experiences
Skinny diping in Amazonian rivers
Versailles garden were simply breathtaking.
Atacama dryness and dust in the air.
Adrenaline swimming on dangerous australian waters.
Reggaeton deep dive in Puerto Rico
And living in the crazy Sao Paulo city, in which I experience a relation of love and hate at the same time.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're looking for some good (real good) Brazilian musical tips, I think I may help you. I can also teach you some Portuguese or Spanish, if you wish.
I'm a marketing graduate so I can possibly help you out on anything related although I'm sure this is not a life changing thing hahahaha.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook, do the cleaning, look out for your pet, speak English, Spanish or Portuguese if you need to practice, help you with any marketing-related issues.
