ABOUT ME

Habare,

My name is Chris Piech (pronounced peach. My middle name is James so I was called James and the giant peach as a kid... but thats not important right now)

I was born in Nairobi, moved to Kuala Lumpur at age 12 and then came to California for university. I just got back from a 411 day adventure that started in Kenya -- my childhood home that I hadn't been back to since I moved away.

I do what I can to be a nice uplifting person. I try to fill my life with both fun/exciting experiences and soulful reflections. I'm pretty tall 6'5" (198cm) but my height is a pretty short description of who I am :).

I started couch surfing as a host. I had a nice extra room that I was happy to share with anyone looking for good company. Need shelter from the storm? Everyone is welcome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The world and its great mystery amaze me on the daily.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Guitar, any language I speak, how to bike with no hands, the joy of jumping in puddles! Oh and I am an intro to Computer Science lecturer at Stanford (I know I am young. But I loved teaching so much they let me). If you are interested in learning some programming or artificial intelligence let me know :).

Learn: Anything really... but I am always trying to improve my Spanish Swahili French and Malay.
