About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Discover my place within this big wide world and experience everything and anything on the way!

ABOUT ME
I moved to Toulouse with my partner over one year ago, and have grown to love this beautiful city in the south of France (La Ville Rose). Although I have met some great people over the past year, I'm looking forward to getting more active in the couchsurfing community; meet locals, expats and travelers, as well as explore Toulouse and its surroundings through hiking, cycling or just being a tourist in my new home town.

After travelling through Asia, New Zealand and the USA for 6 months I definitely have gained the travel bug! I like to fill up my weekends when I'm not working, with trying to visit new places in France, the rest of Europe and beyond, as well as cycling my way on my trusty road bike across the country!

Over 6 months travelling I roadtripped around the USA on a Green Tortoise bus tour, wwoofed my way around NZ, experienced a colourful Chinese New Year in Hong Kong, drove a motorbike around Northern Thailand and got lost amongst temples in Japan!
Let's see what the future brings!

PHILOSOPHY

Treasure every moment like its your last, appreciate your surroundings and be open to trying to new things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoyed hosting travelers in York when I had my own space, and couchsurfed my way around Japan and the USA on my mini gap year! I'm looking forward to hosting fellow travelers when I have enough space, and intend to meet like minded couchsurfers in the UK to remind me of all the great people I was lucky enough to meet while travelling!

Interests

Looks like I have got what many of the other CS's have got, the travel bug! I particularly enjoy climbing up frighteningly high mountains despite having a head for heights, and am up for trying anything new if given the opportunity! I love cooking for others, relaxing and walking out in the countryside in places with beautiful scenery, camp fires/BBQ's with good friends and even a friendly dog or two:) Aside from that I enjoy a good cycle through rugged scenery, a bit of badminton, building things, technology and experiencing new cultures so I can take a little something back to mine!
