Hi! I am Christine (22 years old), living in Rostock (20 min away from the Baltic Sea) and working for a cruise ship company. I am a passionate traveller and photographer and love to learn new languages. I am studying incidentally until 2019 (that is why I do it have a lot of time within the semesters to host someone, as I want to be available most of the time, to show my city).

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am interested in other cultures and people. Everyone I am meeting is influencing myself a bit. If I do not have vacations it is a good way to go out and not sticking in my daily routine. Couchsurfing gives me the feel of vacations.

I love participating in Couchsurfer events. Our Couchsurfing Group in Rostock is unfortunately not comparable with other cities but I have met some great people because of this group.

My boyfriend is getting more requests than I, but within the last years I noticed, that a lot of people took advantage of Couchsurfing to spend only less money. This is a positive side effect but not the reason why Couchsurfing was made. It is more important getting to know other people and their way of living.

兴趣

Oh, there are so many things. At first I love traveling... Since the last years I am doing one cruise per year. My parents did make the first with me and since 2016 I am working for a cruise ship company. Caused to my internship, France seems to me like my second home country.

What else? hmm... take photos + videos and edit them is where I get creative. Well, cooking, watching some series and singing are also my hobbies.

Of course I love going out with my friends e.g. make a barbecue at our port.

When I was a child I played a lot of instruments. With 6 years I started to learn Keyboard, with 15 Trompete and within the last 5 years I want to learn Guitar.

I love singing as well. After I have finished my study I will book some singing lessons to get ambit more professionally.

I love german musicians a lot e.g. Casper, Marteria, Alligatoah, Kraftklub or Bosse. Ed Sheeran is my favourite singer in english.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've lived in France for 3 months on a campsite. On this campsite I checked in and out all guests, especially those who booked one of the treehouses. First I was very confused about my language skills (did only wrote in French but could not talk fluently) but it turns out that it is not very complicated, if you do have more confidence.

It would be great to show other people my city and well, training my language skills isn't such a bad idea.
Some day I would like to learn some Italian and Arabic.

I am a hobby photographer. If you love as well taking photos we can go out to get some nice shots. Sometimes I am posting some YouTube videos of my trips on my channel.

If you have another culture I would be interested in cooking with you something of your own culture (but please not spicy) or I can show you my favourite meals.
