Why I’m on Couchsurfing

...as a host and as a couchsurfer myself... :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a girl in Maastricht who was looking for a room back then. I'm now located in Berlin and I've hosted many friends and travellers I met on the way (not via Couchsurfing, just some Facebook messsaging/ planning). My friend from Singapore whom I met playing Handball there found my bed so cozy that she almost missed her flight back to Graz (where she was doing an exchange semester at the time). That's the great thing about Berlin, chances are high to meet plenty of people from around the world again bc it's a city that has a lot to offer, and many of them/ you will pass by one day or the other.

Interests

Handball, movies, parties, the human brain- I love what I study but I also love not to study, enjoying my free time having nice dinners with friends (inside of my apartment and home-cooked, or outside of the apartment at my favorite Nepalese restaurant, or inside & delivered). And, of course, travelling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spent two months in Padang, Indonesia teaching English. I stayed in a hostfamily which was a great chance to truly get to know the Indonesian culture. Padang cuisine is amazing, btw.
