About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Change the World

ABOUT ME

I want to change this world, turn it upside down. I think the many problems we face today require a very deep change in the basic organisation of our society.

I think, talk and work a lot about this, but not all the time. I am also a very happy and funny person. I love to laugh! :)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is beautiful (even when it´s difficult sometimes).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love US / UK music: The Beatles, CCR, Aerosmith, Queen, The Doors, Janis Joplin... I also like Latin-American music, like Buena Vista Social Club, Bachata, and Brazilian music (especially Raul Seixas and Elis Regina). German music: Die Toten Hosen, Irie Revolté, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Fiddelalter Molk... I also like Manu Chao, Mando Diao, Ska-P...

Authors: One of my favourites is George Orwell. He was brilliant, although I´m not happy with his pessimism. I also like Hermann Hesse and Frank Kafka. One of my favourite books in many aspects is "What has to be done" from Nikolaj Tschernischewski (the political "version" from Lenin is also very nice). And as a novel I recommend "The pillars of the earth" from Ken Follett and "The Medicus" from Noah Gordon. Amazing historic novels, brilliant.

But most of time I´m reading politics and history and try to understand this world. Reading can be so enriching, it can open your eyes.

I´m not so much into movies, but there are beautiful ones! I like some of Stanley Kubrick, Pedro Almodóvar and Fatih Akin. Amongst my favorite movies are "Y tu mamá también" and "Rocky Horror Picture Show". I also recommend "Anizeto" from Argentina.
