ABOUT ME

I'm an ABC - Australian born Chinese, currently living in the Rockies!.
I am a registered nurse and its a pretty fun life i have.
I‘m the smallest biggest bundle of energy you‘ll ever meet :)

I love art, photography, mountains, lakes, hiking, exercise, sleeping, ocean, rivers, adrenalin activities, exploring, relaxing, boats, swimming, beanies, camping fires, summer, rain, rain forests, the galaxy, yoga, doggies, raccoons, foxes, mountain goats and the freezing cold snoww.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on CouchSurfing because I think it is a wonderful way to connect with open-minded people, make long-term friends, and learn about how locals live and embrace everything they have to offer.

I love to host once in a while because I love my home and mostly like to spend some time with travelers to show them my favorite places and how I live my life.

Interests

Eating and drinking.. wine and tea and cheese and all sorts of other things.

I like adventures and exploring and being outdoors but I also enjoy sitting on the couch and reading a book on a rainy day, playing a game, paint, draw or go to a gallery and watch some art.

I love all music, mainly jazz and hiphop but i also like psychedelic trance and hardstyle and the occasional punk , rock, drum and bass!

I love to gym, be active, rock climb, swim, jump off cliffs, do some par-fkn-cour, build fires, be crazy, and sleep.

I have a lot of interests but that’s just to name a few.

Music, Movies, and Books

from classic to jazz hip hop gangsta rap, hardstyle, edm, trance, psychedelic, bush doof, and saxaphone house, drum, bass, rock.. i love a good rave hehe

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve done an 8000km+ road trip around the States with a shitbomb of a car and made it the whole way back in one piece
I’ve camped in freezing cold conditions and swam in glacier lakes..
Hiked around some of the bluest and greenest lakes in Canada!

In 2015 I volunteered in Nepal in the Everest region during the devastating Earthquake. Recovered bodies, treated severe wounds, rescue and find via helicopter search in the mountainous region, tended to children who had lost their families, and built bamboo houses!

2011, in the middle of the night, watched a huge leatherback turtle lay her eggs in Costa Rica, then watched many baby turtles swim into the sea. I was apart of the Ostional turtle conservation crew for that year so it's very special to me. Seeing the Arribadas is just an amazing site

I have indeed skinny dipped in the ocean of Korcula in Croatia.. now I don't think that's really amazing.. just a drunken mistake..

I also did the canyon swing and Nevis bungee naked in New Zealand... hahah if it meant doing it for free then why not..

I have also hiked around the Yellow & Tian-An Mountains with my Grandad!! :)

I have also resuscitated a fair few people who went into cardiac and respiratory arrest...I guess when I'm working, every day is an amazing day.. some days are a bit crazy, some days are a bit frightening.. but I think I have a wonderful job and I love doing what I do.

Teach, Learn, Share

There's a lot to do where I live.
My backyard is a literal playground.
Heaps of mountain biking trails and hikes with amazing views.
we go snowboarding and snow shoeing and touring in the winter,
rock climbing , camping, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, river floating, yoga, art, music, bbqs and just general exploring in the summer

I am learning german so if you know german, please speak it with me :)
I can also speak chinese (mandarin and shanghainese )
I could teach you how to cook heaps of chinese food :) or just make you dumplings and springrolls
I love to bake as well.. I could bake you a birthday cake even if its not your bday!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am quite good at cooking... all sorts of meals... sunday roasts.. pastas, swiss food, chinese food, seafood, bbq, bakes... healthy/unhealthy... i can bake you a cake or muffins or some sort of sweet delicious thing.

I can help with cleaning, washing, painting, gardening, dog walking, taking photos, shit talking, laughing at something stupid or just eating all your food out of your pantry........

Hahahaha I'm sure I have a lot to share with you :)
