ABOUT ME

Above all I am interested in human beings: observing, imitating, and investigating what it means to be a person.
I am fascinated by juxtaposition and contradiction, which is where the truth usually lies.
I like meeting people who share my interests, but I am sure I have learned more from those who are least like me. For instance, living with English ex-pats in rural Andalucia, shoveling goat shit and gardening for two weeks, while listening to stories about fixing motorcycle engines, shiatsu massage, irrigation, making chutney, and picking oranges.
That's the kind of novel experience I am after.

Uhm, also, I am really sarcastic. Let's not take our whole existence too seriously.

Books: natural histories, evolutionary shit and neuroscience. anything that doesn't mention costumes.
