Overview
About Me
After I left high school, I went traveling for almost one and a half year. I got to know the backpacker culture in South East Asia and also lots of different cultures, countries and people.
This first travel experience was the best experience of my life so far. I realised that you can only get to know a country and culture properly if you scratch at the surface. Couchsurfing offers us such a great opportunity to understand things better and to have intense experiences. Also to gain wonderful relationships all over the world.
The year traveling changed myself quite a bit, so it is even harder for me to describe myself. I am still on my journey to find out who I am.
Anyway I will give it a go. I am spontaneous and active. Some people say that I am hilarious, but I think it is just German seriousness and sarcasm. I guess you have to decide.
At home I spent lots of time at the gym and help people to get fit. I love to learn new stuff, does not matter what it is, a few sentences in a new language, a new recipe, politics or religion. I am mostly interested in everything, apart from cars and football.
Moreover I am very ambitious and try to enhance myself as much as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing, because I always want to try something new. When I visit countries the most important thing to me is, that it is authentic. So I would love to have someone around me who is actually living there and who can give me some real advices for places which are less touristy and more beautiful.
Along with learning about new cultures, I would love to get to know them and understand them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed a high mountain for three days in Oz in the rainforest. Hiked alone in the middle of the night through the daintree rainforest to find the camp, saw a snake on my way. And survived.
