About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Stay cool.
ABOUT ME
I am 23 years old. I live in Las Vegas, NV, and I"m working on my masters degree at UNLV for flute. I am a flute player as well as a singer and occasional pianist. I also work at UNLV as a graduate teaching assistant, teaching a couple of courses to undergraduate students. I'm extremely open minded, I love meeting new people and asking people questions about themselves and their experiences, and I also love cooking for people as well! Oh, and I may or may not have an obsession with cats...
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a pessimist- and it works for me, oddly enough. Be realistic, and come up with your dreams that way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I really want to start out small with a maybe a couple of surfers a month. I would love to meet people from all over the world, and perhaps do some surfing myself in the future!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I actually did find a host in Munich, Germany. He was super cool and took us to see the oktoberfest tents in august! all for the low cost of one box of reese's pieces.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Once, Howl's Moving Castle, Mean Girls, Bridget Jones's Diary, Spirited Away, Mary Poppins, Monsters, Inc., Anchorman... there's several more, but I always have trouble compiling lists of movies. I mainly like movies that make me feel good at the end. My life can get kinda depressing, so I like watch movies as a pick me up : )
Music: I like all music. Unless i don't.
Books- I haven't joy-read in ages. I mostly read non-fiction or self-help books about topics no one really cares about. I particularly enjoyed The Count of Monte Cristo, One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest by Kesey, The Assistant by Bernard Malamud, but I read all those books ages ago. if anyone has ANY book suggestions (especially for fiction) I'd be happy to hear them!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've also been to disney world over 10 times. I think that's pretty amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always happy to teach people how to cook and bake, and cooking with my friends is one of my favorite pastimes! I make the world's best cheesecake ; )
