ABOUT ME

I'm travelling Europe! My partner and I have taken a year's holiday to see something new and have set up a base in Berlin.

I'm an easy-going person and happy to be either active or lazy - so walking around or watching a movie at home, easily pleased with life :)

Depending on our travels and family/friends taking the chance to visit and see Berlin, we like to host, but otherwise I love to just catch up with other CSers when I can and I'm always up for a beer/coffee or seeing some sights.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I grew up in Western Sydney, then moved to Germany, then to Canberra and now Germany AGAIN!

I can offer you a sociable time, to catch up for a beer/drink, share stories and have a good laugh!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Learned about couchsurfing through friends in Germany. We went on some awesome travels around Europe and I really appreciate and respect the idea.

Interests

I love hearing about travel experiences!

I love reading books that take me to another world and love listening to music but never had the knack of remembering singers or song names.

I love hiking... I'm a little too uncoordinated for other sports :) I'm trying to teach myself to sew... let's just say I don't think I'm a born talent, but it's fun!

I also play Ultimate Frisbee thanks to Warwick - I'm not a born star, it's a slow process (back to the issue of being uncoordinated), but it's also loads of fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading fantasy - it's like watching a movie on pages! Books that make me laugh or cry are great... but it can make things awkward when you're in public, like on the bus ;)

I'm a fan of all sorts of music, but not a fan of rap. I've just never been able to get it, sorry.

On the topic of movies: I'm a comedy or action fan - the Princess Bride is the best!! But I'm happy to argue the case ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove over a mattress on the Federal Highway from Sydney to Canberra, driving at 110kmph...weird right? The guys in the back woke up quickly!

Teach, Learn, Share

I worked as an English language teacher in Germany for a few years so I'm patient and happy to take it slow if you want to share stories but English is not your first language :)
