Overview
About Me
8 years ago I traveled for one year with my friend Lisanne through New Zealand, Australia and a big part of South East Asia. Especially in Australia we couchsurfed a lot, and that made the whole experience so special. Great conversations, special spots I would never have seen if I would stay in a hostel and met amazing people on couchsurfing. Some of them even came later even to the Netherlands to meet again and I also hosted some couchsurfers at my place. Now I am back with my boyfriend Alex for a new adventure and we would love to meet some new friends again!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I think you see the most and the best things when locals show you them. I like to see the touristic hotspots, but in the end the beautiful, more secret spots locals know I love the most. Besides that I'm very interested in the way people live arround the world and I love to tell you more about my life in the Netherlands.
Interests
Volleybal, playing piano and guitar (I'm not that good, you probably don't want to hear haha) and ofcourse travelling!
- dining
- traveling
- hiking
Music, Movies, and Books
I love the movie 'the holiday'. Have seen it probably 838292 times.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This has nothing to do with traveling, but everything with our 'can do mentality'. Alex and I have been renovating our house for one year. We didn't know anything about building, but now can tell you everything about electricity, bricklaying and laying a floor. YouTube is a great teacher :).
Teach, Learn, Share
German, french and English.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm pretty good at cooking, so if you want we could make you a dutch meal.. and Alex is a professional in doing the dishes, haha.
