Made and born in Austria...
Schooled in England...
Grew up in Slovakia...
Leveled Up in South East Asia...

Just returned to Europe and am somewhat continuing my break, between Austria, Slovakia and the UK.

Would like to continue the meeting of colorful souls, share tales and ideas, relax and enjoy shared enjoyment of time... maybe some walks out and about when the sun joins us!

I am a workaway'er who likes to work away, work in teams or lead a team or figure out what needs to be done or just be told what to do and get on with it :)

My mind ponders on ideas as how to lead a less 9-5, 5 day week, 20 day vacations per year sorta oriented lifestyle, yet the path and team members are just as much work in progress :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It dawned on me in Kuala Lumpur, what a resource for exchange of ideas and experiences meeting CS'ers can be... opening of new doors to an expansive network of such a myriad of people. Being ourselves with a stranger, open and receptive to engage in sharing of time, added a new dimension to my time in Kuala Lumpur, now I want to see what things are like in those places I know in Europe.

Then it will be time to settle myself and open my doors again with the new aspects and manners I gathered from the incredible people I met this last year.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am certainly a Chemical Brother... love a bit of Daft Punk (their 90's stuff)
But the array is expansive across the occasion and air of mood...

Beatles or Marley while juicing in the morning; Jimi, Macklemore, Netsky, Fat Freddy's Drop or some random drum n bass mix while riding the bike to work!

Florence and the Machine, Tom Waits, Mumford and Sons, Oasis, or some electro swing or techno or hard house or psy trance or more drum n bass in the car.

Dancing material depends on the mood :)

The Short History of Nearly Everything - by Bill Bryson springs to mind as does The Green Mile - Stephen King

Movies is another mood dependent flavor - films for feel good effect, mind messing twists, life reflection or just a good comedy! Laughed a lot at the recent 'The Night Before' and laughed and shed a tear to 'The Fault in our Stars'.
Enjoy the Marvel Comic range, the array of Leo Di Caprio films out there... and so on...

Waking Life is the film I like to recommend to people with whom that line of thinking clicks ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing aye?

Going to depend on the other's perspective... When I think amazing, I think something that was done with or for someone where the reception has amazed... Such as some of the work I did during a workaway experience, or guiding someone through learning poi moves, or some sort of mentoring experiences where I have listened and responded, shared and grown too from the exchanges with so many wonderful people.

Some of the poi moves I can whip out feel rather amazing at times :D

Teach, Learn, Share

Unravellings from investigations into MOD9! Leads to vortex based mathematics... Its huge but I think I can introduce the start to it at least :) As long as you don't limit the experience with the question of "why do this?" there is no answer really, just because :)

Poi spinning too. Got a couple of spare pairs, and a space outside to play :)

Quite good with data and process analysis - so looking, for example, at spreadsheets from your daily work, maybe I can assist you in some optimization/time/money saving pointers :) Enjoy it too.
