I'm 46 a Celtic Harpist and Manx Gaelic Singer. I teach piano, harp, voice for living, which makes me a very very happy lady, I smile a lot!! In my spare time I do the crossword and write poetry and think deep philosophical thoughts whilst drinking beer.

I am most definitely a people person, far more hippy than rave. Where there is a cup of tea and a smile I am happy to spend my moments talking about the adventures of life before getting out there to experience some more.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I live very close to the Isle of Man TT course and often have people staying here when they come to watch the motorcycle races. I love having people to stay. Couch-surfing will enable me to explore more of the world, that is a great gift that I appreciate. I wish to reciprocate and enjoy sharing my Island home with others.
I already have friends all over the world, I'm excited to be finding more.

Loads of cool stuff....I started a gaelic primary school, moved my family to Hungary for 3 years to study music and lived on a farm there. Set up a music school on the IOM, moved to a mountain in Switzerland to release my inner Julie Andrews. Currently making an album and writing a poetry anthology about the dark side of the Sidhe (celtic faeries)

Music....let's find a session or a guitar, or just jam in the kitchen with some spoons and some dried peas in a tin. Impossible to stop me humming or singing (sorry) but I'm brilliant to take to a classical/trad concert 'cos I'm properly knowledgeable. Crosswords...I always start the day with the guardian cryptic and, of course, rarely finish it so I'm still thinking through clues in the evening.
Economics and Politics in Education. My EdD is in sustainable education for a better world. I'm really political about how the education system needs to change....if you're happy with it as it stands, it's probably best not to bring this subject up!
How to be cheerful and laid back about practically anything...I'm soooo good at this (unless it's education).
