I love nature, being outside, and exploring new towns.

I work as an educator-trainer, specializing in bullying prevention, peace education, and social-emotional learning (www.peacepraxis.com). I'm also involved in social justice issues in my community.

Live music at small venues, art shows, street performers, interesting books, and coffee shops with great breakfast sandwiches also make me happy. Feeling gratitude for many simple things is a daily experience for me (and I feel grateful for that!) I'm vegetarian.

I anticipate traveling around the country to give talks on "Create a Culture of Kindness" (topic related to my new book.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel and enjoy meeting new people. My sister's been couchsurfing for about 5 years and it's been a positive experience for her. I would be a respectful guest in your home.
