About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm 29 years old and and after having studied Mechanical Engineering, on a trip to find out what I want for my life. Right now I'm in an apprenticeship to become an Organic Gardener for Vegetables. My big passion is sports, I love to run (right now not possible because of some physical issues), swim, bike, hike or just walk, while being outside is one of the most important things in my life and just makes me happy. Since one year I am teaching myself the piano and I would love to take singing lessons. My passion for music has always been huge but I've never really done an effort to become good in it - which I am changing now =). I love to dance, too, have done two couple dance courses during the last year and would like to practice it more. I'm born and raised in Düsseldorf, Germany, but my roots are spread in Norway too, as my mum is a native Norwegian. I like it a lot to meet new people, and am a very open minded and interested person, who can adapt to new environments very quickly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Would like to host people in the weekends.
During the week I have a very tight schedule, which makes it impossible for me to have guests overnight.
But in the weekend my flatmate is always at home and I'd like to have somebody for breakfast or other activities close to my home, while I like it a lot to meet new people, especially from other countries, because I love to speak English or try to improve my French =).
Interests
Play the piano (still beginner), sports, hanging out at home of at a café and going out dancing with my friends, cooking and baking, taking walks and relaxing outside in sunny or rainy weather.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling trough New Zealand on my own, meeting loads of amazing people, experiencing freedom and feeling at home at almost every place.
Traveling is such a good possibility to find yourself and figure out what you want your life to be about! =D
PLUS: Quit my job to learn about life on a farm. Having an apprenticeship right now to become an organic gardener, have lived on farms together with many people, many children. Am having an intense (and sometimes very exhausting) life - which I love so much. =D
Teach, Learn, Share
Leave your cell at home, forget the earphones, go out, walk, run or bike, enjoy your friends and forget about texting and calling. Live is now and here! It's so fulfilling to live in the moment and not being in exchange with everyone else at every time. Don't be afraid to miss out on something or you will end up missing out on the very situation you're in. The person you are with (even if it is just yourself sometimes) deserves your unshared attention. Pick watching the sun (rise, shine, set), the trees, the grass, the mountains , the water or whatever is around (people can be interesting, too ;)) over the screen of your phone. Conversations with strangers (on the bus or elsewhere) can be very nice and brighten up your and their day. Give love and receive love in return!
Play music, sing and dance! =D
What I Can Share with Hosts
Food, my piano (if you play yourself I'd be so grateful if I may listen to your music),
my living room, kitchen and bathroom of course, nice talks.
Whatever wants to happen... ;)
